Bafundi Film and Television Festival 2010

Overview
The Bafundi Film and Television Festival is a national festival hosted at the Wits Theatre in Johannesburg South Africa that caters for students of film and television studies through the various institutions around the country. Bafundi is a platform for networking and exchange between the student delegates attending the festival, lecturers from their institutions who accompany the delegates and various industry organizations and individuals invited to make presentations during the festival.
The Festival provides a platform for screening and discussing of student productions, exhibition of marketing material that accompanies each submitted film. Workshops sessions and one on one sessions are also facilitated with industry practitioners around specific discussion topics relating to the theme as well as through informal round table discussions where delegates have the opportunity to focus their questions in specific areas of interest.
The 3rd Bafundi Film and Television Festival will be hosted at the Wits Theatre from the 12th-14th March 2010. The Festival will see 60 students and lecturers from training institutions around the country come together for an opportunity to network and discuss a programme that aims to update them on happenings in the film and television industry.
